On our recent visit to Oxford we had the pleasure of having breakfast at BBB, Big Bad Breakfast They have a smokehouse in the rear of the restaurant and we had a chance to check it out. Pork bellies were hanging to be smoked that day. We had the opportunity to try the bacon at breakfast, along with grits seasoned with garlic and other spices. The bellies are cured with Tabasco Pepper Mash,salt and sugar,which gives the bacon a unique taste. Big Bad Breakfast, makes special effort to prepare biscuits, andouille sausage and bacon as well as some of the best grits. This is one of those breakfast places that we will look forward to on our next visit.
