We prepare lunch daily at Louisiana Foods and on Fridays our employees seem to look forward this meal over the rest of the week. Fried catfish, cornbread and red beans & rice are a favorite here and everyone seems to love this combination. We work around the clock to keep our customers supplied in fresh seafood and meals like this satisfy our workers and help make the long hours a little more bearable. Every Friday we cook over a hundred pounds of fish, two large pans of cornbread and about 4 gallons of red beans, and during lent that increases by 50 percent on Fridays.
Our customers are eating more seafood these days and our employees are no different.
