"Journal of some of the great foods, meals, fishermen, farmers, ranchers and cooks that have impacted my life. I am always in search of the next fine food or meal and the people that catch, grow or prepare them. Life would sure be flavorless without those ingredients."

Diane's Apple Crumb Crostata
Diane used 5 pounds of apples for this rustic tart, half were Jazz and the other half Granny Smith wrapped in a flaky crust. An added feature was a buttery crumb topping of pecans, oats, and brown sugar.
Whenever Diane makes this Crostata she serves it warm with Hank's ice cream on top.
